We are very proud to note that Samantha Flounders (Senior) and Beebe Finch Sanders (Junior) have been named by US Lacrosse as Academic All-Americans. This honor is earned by exceptional players who also demonstrate a commitment to excellence in the classroom. A total of 19 players across the Northern California region received this special recognition for the 2010 season.

Congratulations to the Jackets, who have made it into the NCS Championships through an at-large bid. Berkeley received the #13 seed and will open play at Foothill on Wednesday, May 19th, at 5:00 p.m.

Berkeley had a strong performance this year, placing 2nd in the BSAL during both the regular season and playoffs. The team's strength of schedule - which was 13th in the Section - likely bolstered its seeding.

This will mark the 3rd time that Berkeley has participated in the NCS Championships, which have a 7 year history. The other showings were in 2008 and 2004.
